There are two locations within the web portal where you can enter Rapid Connect numerical codes or summon registered devices: event creation and participants menu.
Event Creation method
Rapid Connect Code Entry
In the Event Creation dialog, ensure "Start Event Now" is checked:
3. Enter the Rapid Connect numerical code in the participants textbox. Once a recognized RC numerical code is entered, you'll see a popup saying "create". 4. Press "Enter" on your keyboard or click the "create" popup as pictured above. 5. Once you see your RC code with an asterisk (*) next to it, you are ready to start your call.
6. As soon as you click "Start Now", your RC user will be summoned and the call will begin.
Summoning a registered device
In the Event Creation dialog, ensure "Start Event Now" is checked:
2. Open the "Devices" dropdown. Any devices that are available to be summoned will appear with a green "ready" icon.
Choose the device you wish to summon by clicking it.
Depending on your tenant settings, you may need to select a user. A popup will appear now asking you to do so.
Once your device(s) has been selected, you can start your meeting.
As soon as you click "Start Now", your RC user will be summoned and the call will begin.
Participants Menu method
If you'd like to summon a Rapid Connect device when already in a call, simply open the Participants menu. You may need to reveal the full participants menu with the dropdown arrow, boxed in red below.
Enter the Rapid Connect numerical code or select a registered device in the text box labeled "Rapid Connect with or without device", and press "enter" on your keyboard.
Your RC user will be summoned into the call.
